Week two has been much more chill than last week and it went by SO fast. We got to go out into the wild twice this week (Target and Walmart) and we did our first day of evangelism in Kroger. Everyone split up into groups of 2-3 to go around and spread God’s love in the grocery store. I had my friends Liv and Lexi with me and we bought flowers to hand out and offer prayer. It was so beautiful and exciting.
ALSO my team (Emery, Ava, Naty, Lexi, Liv, Kat, and Jaylynn) finally got our leader which is sooo exciting. Her name is Gretchen and we got to hear her testimony yesterday. She’s so great and I’m pumped to have her on our squad.
God is so present through all nature. I love how the vines grow over the trees here like a blanket of green snow. The humidity was SO high the first couple days but praise the Lord it hasn’t been nearly as bad since then. Actually it’s starting to feel like fall over here. There are a few leaves changing slowly so that’s exciting! I’m definitely bummed that I’m not going to be with my family during the holidays, but I know it’s going to be so sweet being all together with my squad. Last Sunday I got to sit outside under the stars and wow. My mouth was open the whole time while I stared into the sky. It’s been a while since I’ve seen so many shooting stars. Overall, Jesus is everywhere if you just look around. I’m so blessed that I’m able to appreciate it over here.
I am so excited about what God is doing in and through you!! I, and my prayer team (church’s women’s ministry prayer team) have you and your team in our prayers.
“I AM the Bread of Life,” Jesus told them. (Jn. 6: 35). Jesus is your life and living sustenance.
Oh my gosh thank you for all the prayers. Love you!!
Great blog again, complete with pics. Thank you Alleah!
