Coming into the second to last week!!
This week was really sweet. We had our normal couple days at ministry on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday but on Wednesday we went to Wesley‘s care point in Manzini. 3 hours later, we arrived at the care point in the beautiful mountains. We got to see the kids that he was with for a month and a half, and he got to see those same kids. The cooks and coordinators made us a meal and we enjoyed it all tougher. The women there were so awesome and all the kids were excited that we were there. Something funny that happened was Tuesday morning, we shaved Logan‘s head. It was meant to be just a buzz cut, but he basically was bald. Thankfully his hair grows pretty fast so it’s looking like a buzz cut now.

On Saturday, we went to Manzini again to shop for our last day of ministry party. We raised more than $400 to put on a big party for the kids at the care point. We were able to buy prizes for the kids to play with them and also gifts for our Shepherd and the cooks. We also were able to shop around, we got some lunch, then we went home and rested for the rest of the night.

Sunday was our Sabbath, but we went to Swazi church for the last time. They gave an illustration about running the race well which was crazy since it’s our last week of ministry.
In general this week, I feel a lot better than I did last week. I got some time to process coming home. I feel like I have been careful with thinking about going home so then I can be very present here. It’s been good, but I need to start thinking about going home obviously. So I spend some time journaling and the Lord was helping me process different things. It’s just crazy that we only have one week left. Coming from a gap year it almost feels like six months are taken away. I feel like I’m barely learning how to lead, and do I wish I had more time with these people to really pour into them. But the Lord put me on this 3 month trip for a very specific reason and he knew exactly where I would be at by this point. He is the King of My Heart and He’s so intentional.
Just learning to trust Him with the big and with the little.
